Welcome to Project dead blog, where I am attempting to breathe new life into this blog over a six month period. If you want to start a blog of your own, this journey should be of benefit to you as I am basically starting from scratch with a lot of old content.

I have set myself several goals for the next six months and will chart my progress here. These are the goals I’ve set myself:

  • Increase the number of visitors to the site from 10 per week to 100
  • Get an Alexa traffic rank of something other than Unranked
  • Get a Google page rank of 1 (better than 0)
  • Increase backlinks from 1 to 5
  • Increase Twitter followers from 59 to 200
  • Increase Klout score from 36 to 50

I will be posting articles as and when I take on a new activity or meet a goal and this page will serve as my table of contents.

The journey so far

  • Blogging platforms
  • Design and page speed
  • Content – Check and fix broken links
  • Get listed in search engines and promote your site
  • What is Page Rank
  • Get noticed by Alexa
  • Get Social
