Star Trek Day seems set to become an annual tradition as the streaming event returns for another outing.
This year’s edition of the celebratory event is set to coincide with Star Trek’s 55th Anniversary. Paramount+ will mark the occasion with a live stream that promises in-person conversations with cast and crew from throughout the Star Trek franchise, surprise announcements, and “legacy moments” with well-known cast members.
The celebration consists of 13 panels coming live from the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California, hosted by Wil Wheaton and Mica Burton. Fans can watch the event at the Star Trek Day website or via the Paramount+ and Paramount+’s Twitch page. After its initial airing, the event will be available on-demand via the Paramount+ YouTube channel.
Each of the five current series will get spotlight panels which are likely to include trailers, new reveals, and more throughout the event — and there will also be a special panel celebrating Gene Roddenberry’s legacy for the Star Trek creator’s 100th birthday.
