White Collar

Just discovered White Collar a few weeks ago so of course, I had to get season one before I could even watch season two. I have to have all the back-story otherwise, I can’t enjoy a show to its full potential.

White Collar is about classy criminal mastermind Neal Caffrey who has been eluding FBI agent Peter Burke for years until he gets caught. Neal escapes from prison when he gets a message from his girlfriend and Burke catches him again but this time Neal wants to work for the FBI in return for his freedom.

Wearing a GPS anklet and living in some really nice digs, Neal becomes Peter Burke’s CI helping him to catch criminals who steal art or counterfeit bonds, basically white-collar criminals. Caffrey’s trusted friend and co-conspirator with ties to the criminal underworld, Mozzie, also becomes a useful source for Burke and the FBI.

Mat Bomber from True Calling, The Traveller and Chuck, plays Neal Caffrey. Peter Burke is played by Tim DeKay, last seen by me in The 4400.

Willie Garson plays Mozzie and Tiffani Thiessen plays Peter’s wife Elizabeth. Rounding off the cast are Peter’s team of FBI agents,  Clinton Jones (Sharif Atkins) and  Diana Barrigan  (Marsha Thomason)

I must say, I like the relationship between Peter and Neal but Mozzie is proving to be my favourite character. Loved Willie Garson as Martin Lloyd on Stargate SG1 but love him even more as Mozzie. This should keep me amused for the summer.
