In a previous trailer, Matt Smith’s Prince Daemon Targaryen and Olivia Cooke’s Alicent Hightower were featured, revealing the look and feel of the Game of Thrones prequel. Now HBO has released new posters. See below.
The series was ordered in October 2019, with casting beginning in July 2020 and principal photography in April 2021 in the United Kingdom.
Its first season will consist of ten episodes. In a blog post, George RR Martin said: “For what it’s worth, those who have read Fire & Blood will realise it contains enough materials for a dozen shows.
“I can say that there will be dragons. Everyone else has said that, so why not me?”
