After reading all the info there is about the writers’ strike, I wholeheartedly support them. They should get paid their dues.
As a result of the writers’ strike, most scripted dramas and comedies have been put on hold and the broadcast networks have no choice but to turn more and more of their schedules over to reality shows. The type of programmes I hate above all other shows.
To take my mind off the absence of some of my favourite shows I’ve been keeping busy with work. It’s clearly not a good idea to work flat out as my body proved when it crashed and burned.
With a big fat cold, aching joints and nothing to do but feel sorry for myself, I decided to check out YouTube, that’s always good for a laugh. I should have done it sooner. Writers have remained creative during the strike, creating videos and even a song.

I love this. This just shows how talented writers are. They should be compensated for their work.
