Gabrielle and Meleager in court in Xena episode 217

The Execution – Xena season two, episdoe 217

In the Execution, Gabrielle is torn between her beleaguered hero, who’s accused of a murder she’s certain he didn’t commit, and Xena, who’s not so sure.

A supposedly great warrior Meleager the Mighty is accused of cold blooded murder and Gabriel doesn’t believe he is capable. Meleager was drunk on the night in question and his memory of events are fuzzy. Xena investigates to prove his innocence.

This episode was okay. Having seen season three before seeing all of season two, I know that there are better eps to come.

Disclaimer: By popular demand “The Executioner” will bring back his comfortable lightweight cotton-flax blend robe in a variety of spring colors.
