I’m counting the days until Orphan Black returns to our screens. Season 2 premiers on 19 April, which is a really long way off so I’ve been sniffing around for updates like some mildly obsessed fan.

In this video Orphan Black star and goddess, Tatiana Maslany answers Tumblr fan questions!

If you’ve never watched Orphan Black then you’ve got plenty of time to catch up. Why should you watch it? Are you kidding me? OK listen.

This is a science fiction series where Tatiana plays several identical women. I’m not spoiling you by telling you that these women turn out to be clones. Tatiana plays each one of them so differently, she’s freaking brilliant. If you watch the series you will end up liking at least one or two of the clones.

I’m not going to tell you more about the clones as if you really are going to watch the series it will be fun for you to see each one for the first time and give them your own nicknames. I’m fond of the soccer mom, the bat shit crazy one and the hippie chick. Pick your own names.

There are only ten episodes in season one so there’s not much cramming to do. The story is so compelling you’ll be clamouring for more episodes by the end of it.

Live in the UK? Catch up on iTunes. If you love the show come back and let me know.
