Ezra Miller, the actor, who plays Credence in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, stood out from the crowd when he hit the Hall H stage on Saturday as a gender-bent Toadette from Mario Kart.
Despite the star-studded gathering of Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Dan Fogler, Claudia Kim, Zoe Kravitz, and Callum Turner, as well as the surprise appearance by Johnny Depp, Miller could not be missed.
Miller joined his Justice League cast at last year’s Comic-Con dressed as Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist for the occasion. It was reported in the Los Angeles Times that someone had to explain what the character was about to Ben Affleck since he had no idea.
Miller is used to causing a stir at Comic-Con. In 2016, Miller emerged as Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings and serenaded fans with a rendition of Rihanna’s Work. In 2017, he plonked a kiss on an unsuspecting fan.
Miller has a busy few years ahead of him with the Flash movies in the works from Game Night directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, and barring any fatal outcomes in The Crimes of Grindelwald, JK Rowling has been talking about the three other sequels.
As a result, we can expect to see many more Miller cosplays in the future!
