Dear Diary
Today is Friday 13 March. I don’t usually buy into the unlucky Friday the 13th bullshit but I’m making an exception today.
The Covid19 epidemic has people moving extremely mad. I went to do my weekly shop today and couldn’t get any loo rolls, kitchen towels or hand sanitiser. It seems UK peeps have seen the Australian’s fighting in supermakrets in attempts to stockpile this prized grocery item and without thinking why, have followed suit.
I’m super pissed because I had to stop at the corner shop on my way home to pick up stuff I couldn’t find in the supermarket and of course, it cost more!

In all my time of watching The Walking Dead, I’ve never seen Rick and ’em obsess about bog roll. Even Battlestar Galactica’s main resource problem was food and water.
If I was going to start panic buying groceries it would be stuff like rice, frozen meat and tinned food. You know, things you can eat. I don’t get it. Waiting for someone to clue me in.
Anyway, this will be my day 1 entry as I class this as the first day of coming to terms with the fact that the world has gone a little bit mad.
