Ezra Miller sings Rihanna’s Work at Comic-Con

Ezra Miller singing at Comic-Con

If you’re going to San Diego Comic-Con, you will likely see some strange sights. But seeing one of the Justice League singing, Rihanna has to be high on the list of pleasant surprises.

Justice League actor Ezra Miller appears to be a Rihanna fan. The 23-year-old actor is at Comic-Con to promote his roles in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, where he plays Barry Allen/The Flash and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in which he plays Credence Barebone.

Miller took a break and serenaded a group of fans with an impromptu performance of Rihanna’s smash hit “Work” at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel. Miller appeared to be enjoying himself as he played the piano. Watch his performance here.

His talent is unsurprising, considering Miller trained as an opera singer from a young age and even sang with the Metropolitan.

During the first-look Justice League footage released during the Warner Bros. Hall H panel, we see Miller’s Barry Allen returning home to his high-tech apartment to find Bruce Wayne sitting in his “second favourite chair,” on a mission to recruit him for the newly formed Justice League.

Miller’s version of the character feels very different from Grant Gustin’s version of him on the hit The CW series, yet at the same time, stays true to the character in the comic books. There is no doubt that Miller’s approach to The Flash will provide some much needed fun amid the doom-and-gloom tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
