What the heck Haven! The Haven season 3 finale rocked. I mean literally, with all the meteors bombarding the place at the end.
This season of Haven has been the best. Well, I think every season is the best at the end of each season. But this season had some major reveals and the season finale Thanks for the memories asked some big questions. This is not a review because I’m verklempt.
The barn has arrived and Haven is being hit by the Hunter Meteor Storm. Fake Agent Howard has brought James (Colorado Kid) to town and waits for Audrey. Audrey has to go into the barn willingly in order to stop the troubles for another 27 years. I thought it was mean of Howard to tell her to take some time to figure out how she could prevent Haven from being flattened and avoid going off in the barn. He obviously knows it’s the only way unless she wants to kill the man she loves who is currently Nathan but was her son James when she was Lucy. It’s not much of a choice really.
Audrey asks the question I’ve been asking since the season one finale: who/what the heck is she? Turns out she’s human. The question of whether or not she’s being punished for something is not given a straight answer. Mm. That set my brain off on a tangent. Colour me intrigued.
Nathan comes face to face with his son and Audrey finds out that Nathan knocked boots with Sarah. Oh my. It’s okay though because Audrey sees it as a compliment.
When Arla Coogan (Laura Vandervoort) insists on going with Audrey and James into the barn, Audrey tricks her. Troubles don’t work in the barn silly silly girl so her pretty face doesn’t look so pretty anymore. When James comes face to face with his patchwork wife he rejects her, causing her to hit out at Audrey. So killing all those people with a bolt gun was for nothing, girl bye!
I cannot wait for next season. Because this finale was so epic, I’m thinking ahead to how they could possibly have a season five. Surely, everything would have to be tied up in season four? I hope not as I love this show so much.
Roll on autumn.
