Haven returns for fourth season on 26 September in the UK

‘I’m counting down the days until Haven season 4 returns to my TV. The new series will première in the UK on 26 September at 9pm on SyFY. The US will get it two weeks earlier on Friday 13 September. Let’s take a big breath and squeal with excitement. Better.

The last time we saw Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) she’d sacrificed her love for Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and her friendship with Duke (Eric Balfour) to return to the barn to save the town of Haven. Meteors were crashing down on the town and wouldn’t stop until she chose to return. Duke understood why Audrey had to return but Nathan acted like a total love sick douche and shot Agent Howard (Maurice Dean Wint). This caused the ish to hit the fan and the barn along with Audrey and Duke (who jumped into the barn after her) and the body of Agent Howard disappeared. Even though Audrey had returned to the barn Nathan shooting Agent Howard must have caused some bad hoodoo as Agent Howard appears to be linked to the barn in the same way Audrey is. Nathan is left kneeling in a field as meteor rocks shower down on the town. The season three finale was awesome and I have been waiting patiently for Haven’s return. The wait is almost over and season four looks exciting judging by the promo clip.

New cast members

New recurring cast members have been added to the line up of series regulars like Vince (Richard Donat) and Dave (John Dunsworth) Teagues

Haven season 4 premiere dates
Emma Lahana and Colin Ferguson

Emma Lahana will play Jennifer Mason, an eccentric woman who hears voices. Word on the street is she may have a bigger role to play in Haven’s weirdness. She sounds interesting. I wonder if she’ll be connected to Audrey in anyway, long lost daughter perhaps? I dunno, I’m just guessing. Eureka’s Colin Ferguson joins the cast as William, a stranger whose agenda leads him to Audrey.nChristian Camargo (Dexter, Twighlight) joins the show as Duke’s half brother. I wonder if those two will get along and whether he’ll be in the first episode.

Spoilers ahead

Talking of first episodes Screenspy.com has some brief details of the first three. If you don’t want to be SPOILED don’t go any further. I’ve been waiting so long a few spoilers can’t hurt me. You’ve been warned. Turn back now! Or scroll down to the comments and let me know if you’re as excited as me about the series return.\r\n

Episode 4.01 – Fallout Six months after the events of last season, Duke is ejected from the barn-without Audrey and rescued by Jennifer, a young woman with a mysterious connection to a place she’s never been: Haven.

Episode 4.02 – Survivors As charred bodies are uncovered around Haven, Duke must refocus Nathan from his search for Audrey to solve the case at hand. Meanwhile, Audrey’s fate rests with Jennifer, as she comes to terms with her own trouble.

Episode 4.03 – Bad Blood Nathan and Dwight race to search for the trouble behind a series of exsanguinated corpses before more blood is spilled. Meanwhile, Duke must convince his half-brother Wade to leave Haven before he learns the truth of the Crocker family trouble.

Are you excited about the new series?
