Xena: Warrior Princess – Callisto

Season one, episode 22

Xena is once again reminded of the sins of her past when a malicious female warrior, whose family was killed by Xena’s former army, exacts her revenge on the Warrior Princess by impersonating her. Callisto rampages through villages burning and destroying and tells the villagers that her name is Xena.

Now here’s a match for Xena. What’s with the Joxer dude? Callisto is a sad insane character. Had she lived today she would have spent thousands on psychiatrist fees.

Callisto is burning villages and causing mayhem and leaving Xena’s name on the villager’s lips. She is hellbent on destroying Xena’s new reputation. Of course, there is bound to be a showdown when Xena hears of this.

Filled with hatred for Xena, Callisto has turned herself into a highly-skilled warrior to match her nemesis. It’s like history repeating itself. Where Xena became the Warrior Princess because of the warlord Cortese, Callisto has become this angry, crazy psycho Barbie because of Xena.

I loved the fight on the ladder but, Callisto’s scream kinda freaks me out.
