A Solstice Carol is a festive offering that sees Xena and Gabrielle trying to bring the warmth and spirit of the holiday season to a cold-hearted king who has outlawed the annual winter solstice celebration.
This is a pleasant little romp to be watched during the Solstice season, definitely one for the kiddies. My son likes this one, I suppose it’s because it’s loosely based on “A Christmas Carol. He watches this and then watches the Mickey Mouse version that he has right after.
Gabby gets the chance to practice her skills as a bard. For me, it was just a filler episode. Does that make me sound like Scrooge? Bah humbug!
