Thanks to his live-action exploits, Spider-Man is still one of the most popular superheroes. Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was released in December 2021 to rave reviews financially and critically paid tribute to the web-slinger’s big-screen history which added to its box office success.
The eight live-action Spider-Man films released between 2002 and 2019 are on sale digitally ahead of the home release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will debut on 22 March 2022. To promote the release, Sony has unveiled a 32-second mashup trailer that combines the best bits of the first seven movies on the official Spider-Man YouTube channel.
The teaser trailer is jam-packed with material from all three Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man movies, Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man films, as well as brief clips from Homecoming and Far Away From Home. Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio is seen fighting against Tom Holland’s MCU web-slinger. We also get to see Kirsten Dunst’s Mary-Jane Watson kiss Peter Parker in the iconic Spider-Man scene, as well as the death of Uncle Ben and Peter Parker’s transformation into Spider-Man.
Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman also feature. Fans of the wall-crawler will surely enjoy this mashup, which is a great way to get excited for the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Be sure to check it out below!
