Since my Scandal loving colleague left my work place in December, I’ve had nobody to converse with on the outrageous show that robs me of speech yet gives me so much to talk about at the same time. I’ve been lonely people. And with only 26 followers on Twitter, (huge hint: Hit the follow button to the right) it’s been a hard winter.
After watching episode 211, A Criminal, a Whore, an Idiot and a Liar, I needed someone to talk to or listen to like STAT. So I decided to fully immerse myself in the online Scandal fandom as, despite the lack of reviews on TV.com I know this show has a huge fandom. I struck gold after a few attempts and discovered two Scandal reviewers on YouTube and immediately fell in love. The way this show has my emotions up and down, I can love and hate at the drop of a hat right now.
First up is Bondy Blue (review above. Warning: She swears a lot). She recaps Scandal with ‘tude and it’s hella funny. Then there is Tangela Ekhoff who recaps in a different style but with as much enthusiasm. She refers to her recaps as rambling and they are but, I get where she’s coming from because Scandal does leave you all over the place after each episode. After watching reviews, I like to read too and I can thanks to Awesomely Luvvie.
These ladies have all inspired be. I haven’t blogged in a minute. Since Stargate and BSG went off air, I really haven’t felt inspired but now, I’m seriously feeling to get my writing back on. But you know, don’t hold your breath because then I’d have to sort out broken links, make a decision on my Xena section and all the crazy things that happened since I merged all my blogs.
