Lost Random crazy theory

2 March, 2010 by PashaO

So I’m thinking of the Lost Season 5 Finale The Incident and  I’ve decided that the bomb worked: It split the Losties in two. The timeline appears to be reset for the part of them that desperately wanted to get off the island or the useless parts.

For instance: in the flash-sideways Hugo’s lucky, Locke accepts his lot and Jack isn’t such a screwup. These are the inner turmoil parts of their personalities that were always what iffing. But their memories aren’t real. The lives they are currently living aren’t real. Jack can’t remember having his appendix out as a child because he really had it out on the island as an adult.

What is left on the island are Losties who have to accept their lot in life. They are stuck on the island and they have to get through it. As candidates, they are now ready to be taken to the next level of Jacob and MIBs game.

As others have said when the time is right, maybe when the flash-sideways lot have toughened up a bit more, the timelines will merge for a big showdown.

Okay. It’s not great but it’s no more crazy than some of the ideas out there. The best thing about Lost is that random theories pop into my head in between episodes.
