Make time for fun whilst writing

I know, I know. You’re a writer, and you love to write. You can’t imagine life without it—it’s your passion, joy, and everything. And now you’re thinking about writing a book or blogging full-time, and you’re wondering how on earth you’ll make time for both work and play.

Well, let me tell you: it’s possible. The key is finding a balance between productivity and relaxation. This means scheduling time for writing projects and setting aside time for things that make me feel good—like hanging out with friends or going for walks.

It can be challenging at first because we think that if we don’t do something productive every moment of every day, then we’re wasting time that could be spent working on something else (and this isn’t true). But once we get used to it and start prioritising our own needs as much as those of others around us—whether those are family, friends, clients, or readers—we find ourselves more relaxed than ever!

I’ve found that the more I take care of myself and make time for things that make me happy, the better I feel about everything else. In fact, it’s almost like a domino effect: when I’m feeling good about myself and my life in general, other people around me are also happier. My advice is to focus on the things that make you happy.

This doesn’t mean ignoring your responsibilities or commitments—it means focusing on what makes you feel good about yourself and what you’re doing with your time. If this is writing, then write. If it’s spending time with family or friends, do that instead of forcing yourself to write into the wee hours of the night.

Balance is everything!
