Chasing dreams and embracing challenges

7 July, 2017 by PashaO
a woman working from home

I’m an avid book reader, so I have always been captivated by the power of words and their ability to transport readers into fascinating worlds. This is why I got into writing. For as long as I can remember, becoming a published author has been a dream of mine. Just the thought of my work gracing the shelves of bookstores or being digitally downloaded across the world fills me with an overwhelming sense of joy and fulfilment.

While the prospect of becoming a published author is undoubtedly thrilling, I want to focus on an even more significant milestone in my journey—completing my first novel. This accomplishment would be the ultimate testament to my dedication, creativity, and perseverance. After all, it is one thing to dream big but quite another to put in the time and effort required to bring those dreams to life.

Writing a novel is no easy feat; it involves countless hours of brainstorming, planning, character development, editing, and revising. It is a laborious process that requires unwavering passion and dedication. Yet every step of the way is incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to delve into my imagination and weave together intricate storylines that captivate readers.

I am not expecting this journey to be smooth sailing; there will undoubtedly be roadblocks along the way. Writers often grapple with self-doubt, creative slumps, or external distractions. However, these obstacles make writing so deeply rewarding – knowing that despite the challenges encountered, I can still emerge as a stronger writer with a greater appreciation for my craft.

Completing my first novel would not only signify that I have achieved an impressive milestone, but it would also represent growth both as a writer and individual. It means overcoming self-doubt and realising that success lies in staying true to myself while continuously honing my craft. This accomplishment would give me the courage and confidence to pursue my ultimate dream: becoming a published author.

So, as I embark on this journey, I want to celebrate every word written, every character created, and every plot twist devised. I embrace this challenging yet rewarding process because it will lead me closer to turning my dreams into reality. And when the time comes for my first novel to be completed, I know that the greatest reward will be having grown as an author and finally accomplishing what has seemed elusive for so long. With unwavering determination and a heart full of passion, I eagerly stride towards that great day of literary fruition.
