The government want to put a friendly face on the 4400 and Shanice and Logan’s family have been chosen as an inclusive blended family to appear on live TV and talk about their experiences.
Exploring the past: Logan’s story
The Kaminski Experiment is a Logan flashback episode where we learn that Logan really had a hard time coming to terms with Shanice’s disappearance. Had it not been for Mrs Grover caring for him and baby Mariah, he might not have made it. Mrs Grover encouraged him to go to therapy and to learn to rely on her less.
When Logan attends grief counselling in the present the group turns against him as he talks about his experience of losing Shanice and her coming back. One woman says “you got what everyone here wants and you’re complaining?” Even Keisha who was in the group has a word with him.
She tells him she is in therapy because she has all this love for her sister and she doesn’t know what to do with it. She would give anything to talk to her one last time. Logan has a second chance to connect with Shanice.
Seems this was the talking to he needed as Logan appears to finally come to terms with the situation and is able to put Shanice firmly in the past and move on with his life.
Logan agrees to do the Meet the 4400 TV interview with his family but without Shanice. He wants to tell the world how Hayden is a part of his family.
I’m really glad that Logan has finally come to terms with his grief. I’m done with that letter and done with her taking the blame for leaving him. I’m also done with everyone trying to push Shanice into this weird love triangle/happy family situation. Like seriously, stop trying to heap more trauma on the poor woman!
Bill Green Wins
Isaiah hasn’t been doing a great job of taking care of his flock. He assumed the contracts were standard agreements. It’s not until Shanice tells him the government can trigger a conservatorship when certain conditions are met that he looks into it. It seems the Rev does want to do right by his people but he really dropped the ball with Green.
Having cameras pointed at the 4400 always has the potential for something to go wrong but The Kaminski Experiment gave Bill Green the perfect platform to instil fear in the general public and show them how dangerous the returnees are.
Bill Green’s intention to expose the 4400 as a danger using the Firestarter Bruno (Emmanuel K Jackson) as a catalyst was subverted by Keisha and Jharrell unfortunately, Mildred showed up at the hotel and gave him the spectacle he needed. If Isaiah hadn’t found Mildred, she may well have killed Green. Regardless the damage is done.
4400 super power logs
What happened to Mildred’s powers? Did they fizzle out due to overuse or do they not work on other members of the 4400? We saw in episode 2, that Noah’s powers didn’t work on the returnees and yet Shanice’s powers worked on Andre. So how do these powers work?
Or has the Rev finally come into his power? Does he have the capability to steal powers from the other returnees? Can he carry multiple powers like Syler in Heroes? Or is he more like Peter Petrelli and can only carry one power at a time? Can’t wait to find out.
