The Price - Xena and Gabrielle in a canoe

Xena: Warrior Princess – The Price

In the Price Xena reverts to her old ways to whip a dispirited Athenian army into shape to take on a horrific foe known as the Horde. But her ruthlessness appals Gabrielle.

I liked this one. Xena as the Warrior Princess coming into conflict with Gabrielle the “gentle”. Gabrielle proves that Xena is not the only one who wears the trousers in this relationship as she disobeys orders. Luckily for her things worked out okay and Xena didn’t have to save her scalp from the Horde.  The Horde have been likened to Star Trek’s Borg. Whilst they were quite unnerving opponents they didn’t appear to be as unstoppable as the Borg. I mean Gabrielle managed to figure them out through quiet observation.

Disclaimer: To show sympathy for the Horde, “kaltaka” was only served upon request during the production of this motion picture.
